In short form:
I am from Ontario Canada.
My Mother has passed.
I have reason to believe my Mother's Grandmother was Elizabeth Fisher, born March 24, 1873 passed I believe March 11, 1956.
I can trace my Elizabeth to Rainy River, Ontario, Canada in 1911. I think it is the same Elizabeth Fisher that was in Whitehaven in 1891 and had a brother Henry Fisher. This Henry Fisher, I believe, had a daughter Margaret Fisher in Feb 1901 who, if I am correct, came to Canada in 1907 and was living with Elizabeth Fisher McAteer in 1911 at age 10. (she is listed as niece to Elizabeth in 1911 cencus).
I also have a photo of my Elizabeth Fisher that is inscripted 79 Lowther St. Whitehaven. (circ 1893 written on back by my Mother).
Can anyone help?
I have googled this address and see that it is a St. John Ambulance centre now. Can anyone tell me if it was once a photo shop?

Kelly's Directory for 1894 shows - James Bellman, photographer & deputy
registrar of marriages, Whitehaven district & Whitehaven union at
79 Lowther Street.
