A man has been charged following the sudden death of a man in Whitehaven, Cumbria, earlier this week. Police were called to a flat in Victoria Terrace on Wednesday, where they found the body of an as-yet unidentified man in his 20s. Cumbria Police said a 30-year-old local man had been charged with supplying heroin and administering poison with intent to endanger life. A spokesman said efforts to identify the victim were ongoing.
