...I can't believe that we again are faced with a gunman on the loose in such a short space of time!!! My thoughts are with the affected families & I hope he is caught asap to prevent any more tragedy....

I don't think he will take the 'easy' way out now...I think he will take as many people with him as he can. Today's news conference has been delayed so hopefully the police will have some news re Moat's capture!!

With the four arrests today it appears he has a support group helping him.

He also seems to be playing with the police, he is leading them to his old camp site then leaving a letter for for them, this police search looks like it is going to go on and on for some time,

I think they'll have him in a few days. He's going to be hungry and tired and will start making mistakes. The police should also keep tabs on his mates - check to see what they are up to. Someone will slip up soon.

There was a man on Sky last night who had been on the run in Scotland for 23 days. He has now given up his criminal activities.

Report on the news that the cost of this now is approaching £3.4 million and is taking up about 10% of all police resources.
I wonder if this means the search will soon be scaled down if it doesn't reach an early conclusion?

You never know what's just round the corner Art, do you? Wink

6 minutes after you posted-
20.00 BST: Northumbria Police say a man who fits the description of Moat
has been located in the riverbank area in Rothbury. They are currently
negotiating with him.

True Geoff, I did add about an early conclusion, rather earlier than expected.
