I know it was abit optimistic of me but I really hoped that Australia would beat Germany last night... Four goals in their opening game...I think that's just showing off!!!! lol

well what a suprise the french surendered again, if there is anybody knows how to enjoy themselves better than them south africans i havnt seen them, well exept for capt. sennys there hasnt been a lot of trouble ive heard about.

My eldest was in town on Friday night and saw trouble outside of Sennys - fighting on the roadside.

Not sure what has happened to the French. Maybe it's all the infighting.

I have to laugh when the press quote England as saying that it is the weight of the nation on their shoulders that makes them play poor. So, the USA, France, Spain, Brazil, Germany, etc.. don't have their own people hoping for World Cup glory? What a load of tosh.

The problem is there because they are overpaid and overhyped. I'd rather have a England team made up from League 2 players that would have a go at the opposition.
